Poem -

The Naturist

The Naturist

I wanted to break free to find the real me,
to be at one with nature away from reality,
they said that we would all be the same,
all the same underneath but we weren't.

The secret was to look straight ahead they say,
I never noticed so many eyes before in the way;
clutching some foliage, I decided to explore,
it turned out what was less, was definitely more.

Now meeting a partner was a whole new ball game,
you knew the whole package, only yourself to blame
if you were not happy, you could walk on by,
although something may crop up without having to try.

Everything was there, of the facilities you never tired,
however, asked to dress - my membership had expired.
