The Next Chapter

Well My fiancé and I have moved into our own home
The very first time we've been on our own together
It's a small house in a small town, but I like it
Though I hope we aren't here forever

We have started a new chapter of our lives 
Somewhere we will feel like we belong
It has kept us busy so far
And we will be starting new jobs before too long

The house is beautiful, with paneling and wood floors
The solid wood look gives it a real homey feel
We've settled in just fine and so have our pets
Being on our own makes everything seem so real.

Its time for us to be adults now
With new responsibility
Things may seem overwhelming
But together we have the ability

It's been over a year since we reunited
Gosh, time is going by so fast
We will be busier soon
I hope we can make good times last

We've had our struggles
Staring out can be tough
But if we work together
Some things won't seem so tough

We have a lot to be planning
Especially our wedding day
Maybe children in the future
A successful life I pray

We will enjoy the good times
Have plenty of laughter
I'm so excited to be with you
While starting this whole new chapter.
