The norm

Days out where taken for granted,
Meeting friends for a chat,
Visiting your family,
That's what life used to be like,
Now in lockdown and cannot go out.

Stuck at home some all alone,
Missing there friends ... family,
Depression starts to set in,
Watching tv eating putting on weight,
Once around the block will help with that,
Doing odd jobs long ago put off,
That's the norm now.

The vunerable stayed at home no mixing at all,
Others went out stayed 2m apart,
Food shopping !!!! toilet rolls in short supply,
Home deliveries where hard to come by,
Holidays where cancelled people struck abroad,
How did it happen where did it come from,
Who's to blame for covid 19.
