THE Ohio State University

Last night was the Big Ten Championship, between Wisconsin and OSU;
Undefeated and ranked number one, a powerhouse tried and true!
But in the first half, they were dismal, scoring a meager seven points;
While Wisconsin tallied twenty-one, upset whispers filled the joint!

Linda was very nervous, but OSU did I defend;
“Honey, they had a bad half, the next one, they’ll kick their sorry rear ends”!
I knew they’d had a meltdown, but only half the game was done;
And there was a very excellent reason, why experts ranked them number one!

Then in the locker room at half time, Coach Ryan Day lit a fire;
Spurring them to greatness, reawakening their desire!
They held poor Wisconsin scoreless, their defense beyond compare;
While the offense scored twenty-seven, on the ground and through the air!
.
They are now playing in the final four, all vying for the National Championship;
Hopefully, they’ll beat the first opponent, their asses really rip!
Then, it looks like it will be LSU, that they face in the final game;
When the winner’s trophy is raised, I think it will be etched with OSU’s name!
