Poem -

The old road

Take me down the old road
Where life was so free and easy
Take me back to carefree days
When I had no responsibilityΒ
Free me as you once did
When you unrestrained my eyesΒ
Opened them up to so much
Do you rememberΒ

Take me down the old road
Where the night was always young
Take me back to the passion
Take me back

We were angels, you and i
Playing a demons gameΒ
Unbound and free
Unbound and unrestrainedΒ

We are angels, you and i
Playing a demons game
Where no thought goes ignored
Where no mind is innocentΒ
And the old road beckonsΒ
Where we were freeΒ
