The old rugged cross 🙏

The old rugged cross 🙏

The old rugged cross stood solitarily

Tilted from timelessness, and as old as the sea

The graves name was well worn, so it intrigued me

I was spellbound by its ancientness and antiquity

A stillness of silence solaced my stare

Whilst a whispering whistle blew threw the air

As static electricity lifted my hair

Something felt strange, was there somebody there?

So I looked all around, in-front and behind

But thru a fret of thick fogginess, this made me blind

Yet if I could see thru the haze would there be anything to find?

Or was this melancholy moment, menacing my mind?
