THE PEAR TREE THROUGH MY EYES

The pear tree in the garden stands so tall
I stand beside it hoping pears will fall
For I am five and can't reach the fruitÂ
Jumping up must look kind of cuteÂ
When I'm six I know I will be tallerÂ
It's not easy being five and smallerÂ
I love the pears on this tree so very muchÂ
Sweet to eat and tender on the touchÂ
My brother who is ten likes pears tooÂ
He can help himself something I want to do
Daddy says that pears are really good for you
If Daddy says this then it must be true

Brilliant !!! ❤️
My Dear Kieran,
Great poem!!
These young boys were thinking about pears, but, upon reaching their teenage years, they started thinking about different "pairs".
Peace and Love,
