The Perfect Mask

The Perfect Mask

You try to
pick up the pieces
even those cut open
by piece by piece
it cuts even deeper
saying nothing
hurts worse
then not knowing
these fears of letting go
you gave them everything you know
so you just dont show
people think you're so fine
but they can't see the perfect mask
you hope it dont last
so you just sit and sigh
people just say you're so happy
so you try to think of a lie
so you just nod and smile
walking home, you see all this happiness
you start to think maybe
someone will look
though your perfect mask
cause you can't breath in a cast
Tears start to roll
mind starts to go
So you try to fade
everyone looks though you like glass
no one sees what your hiding
You wish you could find anything
just something to
To pry this perfect mask off
to finally to be free
free of all this hiding
not even crying
to finally let go
to be free to be yourself
and to finally break
off your perfect mask.

A empty funeral

A empty funeral

Standing in the freezing rain
Staring off into the ground

Where a black yet red casket...

Only yourself

Only yourself

Feeling like you can't escape

Escaping that day or night

You try to heal

Hello

Hello

Can't seem to sleep
The news of you

Going around in my mind

Just doesn't seem real...
