The Person I Am

To those, I am the "Hero" in your life. The person you looked up 
to for love, strength and wisdom. 
To many, I am the "Eagle" in your life. The wind beneath your wings. 
The one who led you thru trouble waters, the one who pulled you up and 
gave you strength and courage to shine. To only to have set you "free". 
To all, I am the "Listener", the hope in your life. The one that gave 
you inspiration, faith and love, when you needed it the most. 
To those, I am the "Disciplinarian" in your life. The one who taught 
you morales and values in life. The one who told you to take full 
responsibility for your actions. I could have taken "No" for an 
answer, and sometimes I wished I had. 
I am unable to be with you now, but I do exist in your "hearts and 
souls". 
Thank God -- You all were, "My Wind Beneath My Wings". 
 "WHO AM I" 
I am "Your Father . . . "Your Grandpa" . . . "Your Brother" . . . 
But most of all -- "I am your "Friend".
