The Petals Fall

Can you feel them? They're right there.
They're gnawing at the barrier and the walls.
Thoughts and simple words turn into poison.
Rotting and twisting the Sakura tree at its centre.
Making it unstable.
As worrisome thoughts ignite,
The petals fall.

A good write, I loved the visual of the Sakura tree. I could see those delicate petals falling. Very clever and I always admire a strong message in a short piece ✨👏
