Loneliness

Loneliness clings to the air like an old friend, a comfortable longing sets in; one she has felt all too often, even when she's not alone.
Although the night has dragged on, she has not felt any time pass.
She lays down as her eyes begin to droop, preparing for the sweet longing of sleep; Her saviour from the world.
