The plague

The plague

This plague won't own us
for we are one
now that the "us" is real,
this fear around
don't let it fester
you're stronger than you feel,
that lonely self
in isolation
don't let it rule your mind,
phone or Skype
help a neighbour
be content and kind,
the news you hear
though full of worry
don't let it burden you,
just focus on
the hear and now
and take a different view,
that wave of panic
when ýou shop
just stop and take a breath,
think of the many
just as needy
for when you give you get,
these heroes that
you do not know
although you've heard about,
do it for them
do it for your gran
let's try to stop the rout,
this plague won't break us
though we're bruised
we will find our way,
we'll learn together
we'll grow together
until that better day.

Being Me

Fabulous!  Really enjoyed this.

we'll learn together
we'll grow together
until that better day.

It's a horrible virus but the whole world seems to have got smaller as we all fight the common enemy. Let us hope we see the end of it soon x
