The punishing sea

Make no mistake
The sea will kill 
  With its claws
       Multiple
 Wrapped around you
     Make no mistake
   The treacherous sea 
        With these waves of hell
 With its tentacles
       Multiple 
         Ye upon this earth temporarily
Thankfully 
    Honestly
          We cannot escape 
The sea in which we shall perish - 
    Lord 
         The sea is rolling in 
    And I am breathing in it's bubbles 
              Its tentacles surround me
Like an octopus strangling the earth 
    Have I forgotten the venom of the sea 
    Do I underestimate thee, 
       As I am pulled under
              Into the punishing sea
