The Rainbow

Red. The color of blood
Blue, the color that is always associated with you
Because it rhymes
And I think that's a bit lazy
But I'm slightly hazy in what passes for genius but, Jesus,
Purple. A mixture of the two 
It doesn't have a clue for anything but helping in concentration
Green. The color of new life and spring
The color that means that thing. Whatever you want it to mean
Yellow. You think and then become mellow. Like the drink. Fizzy and sugary lacking in anything 
Orange. No one likes orange
If you do then you are a 
White the color of purity and light
The color worn by those who sit on the altars and tell you they know what’s right 
and the martyrs
that died long ago 
Trembling in spite, and then even so
Black the color after a heart attack
Showing all things that I lack
Black. the color of the last crack of existence 
However far the distance
Black
