The Ride of Revere
*this one is based on Paul Revere and his fellow companions who risked their lives to helpĀ warn us when the British were coming
Listen, all fellows and listen up well
For you may want to know this story I tell
Up in the steeple high above the ground
Two lights shining brightly were there to be found
Although very simple this gestures still great
For a great victory in our history, the lights would create
A man and his fellows ready to ride
These great men exposed what the redcoats wanted to hide
Rushing through the town at breakneck speed
They warned the townspeople with their voice and their stead
āAn attack there will beā was the story they told
To all that could hear both the young and the old
Revere, Dawes, and Prescott were these gallant men
And this story will be told again and again
For this ride they completed was no small task
And they saved everyone without us having to ask

He died in 1818...
Awesome tribute to such a Legendary man...
They don't make men like that anymore...
So many of the men we have today come out of a creepy horror story...
Scary!!
They continue to get older and more creepy and more of them...

P.S. His great horse, Brown Beauty...
He and William Dawes met up with Samuel Prescott after the two warned Samuel Adams and John Hancock...
Later they were captured by a British patrol in Concord...
We could probably talk about this for hours...
Really Great Men back in those days!
