The Ring

There it lies behind a glass case. The dimonds sparkling with bliss.
I say to my self that's the ring. In my mind the ring speaking back to me saying ..... I am over all beauty in the world ! I will uphold the highest expections. Fear isn't a matter anymore , because I am your hero! I am your every desire. Taking a moment to snap back to reality. I say excuse my sir this is the ring! The clerk staring at me with joyfullness saying.... She is a very lucky woman! After buying the ring. I am overwhelmed with the thought of ever lasting love. A life time of comfort. My better half. My honey as I her bee. I rush home, but not before buying roses. At home at last. I'm so impatiently nervous. Hands shaking as i begin plucking rose petals. Laying​ them on the ground one by one. Reciting she loves me! She loves me not! As they fall. I create a pathway of rose petals. At the end sets a box with a pink bow. I hear the door unlocking. My heart beating rapidly. My breathing getting heavier. Final a sweet soft voice saying... Sweety I'm home! Giggling as she is following my ocean of rose petals. At last she find me at the end of her path. Now on one knee. Looking up to her eyes. Her looking in to mine. I pause with over ran emtions. Letting it out I say... Baby I know we've had our ups and downs, but we over came all. I love you with every ounce of my being, my heart, and soul! As I gently open the box. I ask her to marrying me.... She looks at me then the ring. She gasp with suprise. Oh my goodness! Swwweeeeetttyyyy! As she paused my mind spinning out of control. She nevrously refuses. My jaw dropped faster than my heart. My thought of bliss vanish, as if it was magic. Emtionally confused I ask why? While a tear rolls out my eye. Hitting the floor like it was my heart! She replies I'm just not ready........
