The Road Ahead

Smoke a little bit, real fast,Ā
take the hit like a man, time passedĀ
thinking about my past.
Sinking in thought,
Wonder what money bought.
No, this life it hadn't brought.
That's the one writing this.Ā
Started with writing piss.
But then I clogged the toilet.
Shut up boy, you're dead.
I left that matter behind.
Wrote something new to unwind.
The tangled web screamed.
Don't leave me hanging,
I thought you dreamed?
I still do in a way. I just didn't stay.
I moved on to what's better.
So this is my resignation letter.
Here's what's real for me.
No matter if it does appeal, you see?
It's how I flow, so let me show.
The road ahead ain't misery.
Absorb it all, his, her, thee.
Life holds to much for one.
Come along, we'll get it done.
