The SCOOBS

The SCOOBS

My son
has a coonhound
Who's name is
Scooby-Doo
But is affectionately
Called the Scoobs

The vet says
His ideal weight is
50lbs
Yet he weighs in
at 100
And that is
When he Conveniently
Lifts
His
Heavy paw
off the scale

You see
The scoobs
Has anxiety
over loud noises
And
comfort
Eats

Today happens
to be
The 4th
Of July

Fireworks
Are
Booming

And while
The rest
Of the family
Are out on
the
Balcony
Enjoying
The
Show

The Scoobs
eludes
himself
In a
Dark closet
Searching
For
A
Scooby snack

Awe poor scoobs. Have you tried a dog muff? They wear them and it snugs round their ears. Calms them down and they tend to just goto sleep. My old dog had one and it was the only thing that calmed him during fireworks

I loved Scooby-Doo as a kid :)

Awww! Love it, Greg, though I agree with Gwen... maybe that`ll help? Honestly not much of a pet person. No green thumb either... Enjoyed the read Greg!
