The screw up

The screw up

Joy and horror at the findingΒ
That blue line and her shaking
Alone in the world but not for long
Finally did her baby came along
Preparations to be made
Heart and body but mind afraid
Of consequences to be paid
When up at night with the shade
She thought struggled and took advice
She felt alone like a little mice
Against the odds she kept the child
Who now is the king of all her might
Years went by and he grew up
She aged fighting the screw up
But at the end within his eyes
She found peace and love as she dies.

Trapped in the corner

Waking up feeling low
Coming back to reality very slow
Don't wanna get back into the race...

I never imagined
You would become a picture on my windowsill
Framed in silver you look at me...
