THE SHRINKING MOON

THE SHRINKING MOON

Creation spoke so softly at the start
All of God's creatures with the same heart
No anger, no rage, no disease, no ill
No signs of aggression, no need to kill

Greed was not a seed planted
In the garden of Eden's soil
Neither was selfishness a fruit desired
To amass millions at the destruction
Of earth's existence

The arsenal of God was not unleashed
No hurricanes, earthquakes and winters cold
Like consuming sheets
The sun's rage was never before felt
Just a wonderful warmth caressing ones self

But soon the heavens were angry with man
He became a force of destruction
Bent on destroying the godly land
To his evil desires his heart did succumb
Building weapons of mass destruction
Toying around with the atom bomb

Now here we are, light years away
From the garden of Eden's bloom
A world filled with chaos and hatred
The recipients of a shrinking moon.

Hello Wilford...

Good Morning!

When God promised Noah and his family that He wouldn't flood the whole Earth again, I wondered about the greater sins that are going on now, and maybe He meant He wouldn't do it all at once...

He was angry then and I don't think He's happy now and people can't wait to see Him...

I wonder really the things we would change if He showed up today...

With all His Love and Forgiveness when we are sinning on purpose...

Great write!

Great message!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

My dear sparrowsong
what a tangled web we weave... And ourselves we deceive...
what man calls his greatest achievement leads to his destruction..
Yet in pride he goes full force ahead..
May God have mercy on us all.
thanks for those encouraging words my friend.
do have a pleasant weekend.
