The Songs Of My Heart

When I see you I hear music, the songs from in my heart;

I composed them when I met you, the day our love would start!

I’m not looking for any Grammys, for I’ve won the greatest prize;

It’s the love I see upon your face, when I look into your eyes!

They speak to me in volumes, before I’d never heard;

So I write them down in music, based on just three little words!

“I love you” oh my precious, you’ve made my life complete;

I heard the Angels singing, the moment we’d first meet!

So now I sing out all the praises, of my forever young dear wife;

Who’s brought me to Nirvana, the joy of all my life!

These tunes I’ll sing forever, they’re now within my soul;

Along with you my Angel, and the bells that therein toll!
