The Sunlight Of Your Soul

You led me from the darkness, and made this half man whole;

You lit my path to righteousness, with the “sunlight of your soul”!

For many years I’d stumbled, and wallowed in the mire;

But with the sunlight came the passion, to set my soul on fire!

Every day the flames grew higher, but completely under control;

For they brought with them desire, which long ago was stole!

You taught me how to love again, and lay my heart wide open bare;

For it knew that you would care for it, and with yours would ever pair!

That was many years ago, but it’s still as exciting as the first;

My heart replete with happy ache, and daily for yours, thirsts!

Your sunlight brought me to the “Promised Land”, your soul brought me all its’ love;

My Goddess that came down to me, from the Heavens up above!
