THE TRAMP AT THE AIRPORT

Minding my own business in the airport lounge
A tramp approached me he was on the scrounge
I wondered where this man had slept last night
Surely not at the airport that can't be right

He asked me for a pound for a cup of tea
No harm in that as far as I could see
He then asked the same thing to the person next to me
Nothing in this life I'm afraid is no longer free

The tramp I'm told is a permanent fixture
I don't think he will make it on any holiday picture
It's sad and upsetting he has ended up this way
Spare a thought for him as you go about your day
