The Ultimate Tsunami
A terrible Tsunami, now rages in our hearts;
It arrived with all its’ fury, the moment you had to part!
It pounds on us incessantly, bringing waves of wracking pain;
It floods all of our chambers, with tears that fall like rain!
.
We cling on to our sanity, as winds rip apart our souls;
Now damaged irreparably, with so many gaping holes!
It brings with it eternal night, the darkness of despair;
The hours now tick timelessly, for you’re no longer there!
.
With no rescue soon forthcoming, we lay battered, trying to hold on;
Waiting for some day in the future, that will bring a brand new dawn!
But till then we are in peril, of drowning in this endless sea;
E’er sobbing for our Sacred Soulmate, who no longer with us be!
.
.
Winds engulfed us
Tore sweet Cody from our arms
Hearts and souls denied

So sorry for both of your loss of your puppy dog. My husband and I can relate so much. We had a cocker spaniel named Boodro for 17yrs who died about two and a half yrs ago and we both still have tears come to our eyes when we look at his pictures. I get comfort from a wood carving of a cocker spaniel like him on our wall. My brother found it a long time ago and gave it to us because it looked so much like him. One thing I am sure of, you both gave your puppy a good life. Your puppy will be remembered for years on Cosmo.
My Dear Shirley,
I still remember, as a very little boy, my Mother had a cocker spaniel named Chop Chop. She tied a box to the back of my tricycle, and I used to ride him around the house. I know he passed away when I was four. Our loss of Nico, 2 1/2 years ago, and now Cody, has torn our hearts and souls to shreds. Today would have been Cody's 14 1/2 year birthday. I have just posted a Birthday poem for him. We're going to read your "Mr. Meow", right now.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
Linda and Larry xxx
You inspired me to post about one our pets Mr. Meow. Maybe, it will give you both a little smile.
