The United States Moron Corps

Inspired by Gerard McGowan’s brilliant poem- “No Cure For Stupidity”

They scream “hooray” as Trump lies to them, believing every word he speaks;
“The United States Moron Corps”, unaware of that which he seeks!
To destroy our great Democracy, and create a Dictatorship;
With him, of course its leader, ruling with an iron grip!

He tells them he’s their saviour, he knows more than experts in every field;
He hides his daily Blasphemy, his Tyranny keeps unrevealed!
Great minds make strides to beat the virus, but he takes credit for their deeds;
Cultivating his flock for the future, he plants his evil seeds!

For he plots his reelection, this master of deceit;
And he will use any method possible, to insure Joe Biden’s sound defeat!
He is sneaking under scrutiny, because Corona saturates the news;
As he tampers with America’s access, to vote and him eschew!

Wake up you “Trumpeteering” people, before it is too late;
Save our Country in November, rid it of this Devil from Hellsgate!
Then the day he leaves his office, they can throw his ass in jail;
And try him for High Treason, the court deny him bail!
