The Unknown

The Unknown

I sit and wait, for what?
The answer, I don’t know.
I’m destined to float and fall,
My future depends on,
Where the wind will blow.

I run and walk, how far?
The answer, I don’t know.
I’m following the rise and fall,
Of the weather ahead,
Unsure of when I’ll stop or go.

I stop and start, for what?
The answer, I don’t know.
I’m being pulled in and out,
From a tide somewhere,
Inside an ocean too deep to know.
