The Unknown Light

The Unknown Light

A glowing orb of amber settles silently on the street.
Soulless, black air scrapes across the bairn concrete.
A monotonous grey hue is washed over the vicinity,
left to solely mourn in its own deep, dark indivinity.

A pigmented image of isolation displays an imitation
of this vacant arrow, grieving in its misused adoration.
Infinite whirls of a petrified touch, blow and flow between Ā
the impediments of the Earth, mutating into a machine.

A figure breaks the trusted peace. Like a valour of death,
he morphs within the nothingness, exhaling an icy breath.
Frozen warmth glistens in the darkness, oblivious to all
the sinister spectators, watching the weak brutally crawl.

The light fades, devoted within its isolation.
The sun rises, concealed within its lies.
The truth remains tainted.
