The Ice People

The Ice People

A great distance separates us.
Vastness, an empty cavern of a heart.
This unadulterated cruelty concealed
within the darkest, purest and deadliest
crevasses of your frozen, coal-black soul.

Our lives; lives of innocent individuals,
lives of children, are placed within your
stone grasp - decaying under the palpable
fear, selfishness and revulsion.

A capitalist air flows within our souls;
power corrupts us secretly, slowly
corroding our bodies under its pressure.

Eyes are tainted by an impression
of the darkest black, of them.

Of leaders.
