The Water Of His Grace

"Step In." Christ called out to me!
I, feeling cast down, was passing by.
I saw Him walking upon the water-
So wondrous to my minds eye!

This day, my Spirit was so cast down-
I did not, at first, believe I could!
Then, my heart and soul called to remembrance-
My Lord, nailed to the wood!

I stopped my steps, through this troubled land.
I put away "their" hurtful words and deed!
I turned fully to face my Saviour-
I trusted HIM to meet my need.

I placed my barefoot upon the water!
My Lord's eyes upon my face.
I walked steadily toward my Father!
Ah, The water of HIS grace!

My burdens fell off one by one!
My focus upon my King this day!
My moments shall I spend praising HIM!
HE shall have the final say!

I will not fear what man can do!
For my friend, Jesus, holds my hand!
In faith I've stepped onto the water-
I wish not to return to land!

My walk here is for my precious Lord!
I am His and He is MINE!
I will endure on earth, as he allows-
Knowing all the while, I'm fine.

For my blood line is of royalty!
None higher can be found!
So, though in my Spirit, I walk on water-
In HIM, 'Tis solid ground!

All in the name of JESUS!
There is something, about that precious name!
For the moment I accepted HIM-
My soul, my life, never to be the same!

He accepted me just as I am!
He guides me, is an eternal friend.....
and.....Praise His ever Holy Name-
This journey, with HIM, shall never end!
