The Wayfarer: (Sonnet)

Inspired by the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche

The Wayfarer: (Sonnet)

When the wayfarer is freed from his bonds,
He sets sails on vast seas to unknown shores.
A lonely figure is he. He responds
To the rigidities of deed and thought,
By searching for vital, new worlds that he
Can explore. So self- contained, he allows
His art and poetry to flow, from deep
Within his heart and soul. O he kowtows
To no- one and is considered awkward
By certain types, when in fact , he is only
Following his visions! He can't afford
To compromise his immaculate dreams
And God- given gifts; for Life is short.
His noble notions are always well-wrought.
