The whole of you

The whole of you

In your little heart
I see there is light
I see there is happiness
But I see there is fright.
And this is what you have to fight.
On your lovely face
I see there is a smile
and I see glitter in your eyes
and they look like the brightest skies.
In your pretty hands,
I see there is softness
I see the tenderness,
And I see all the strength
And all of this makes who you are
And all of this is worth fighting for
Because it is the whole of you
And because this is what people see in you.
