The Wild

Save My Heart

 The Wild

A lonely child travels with parents
Who are content with their quiet boy

They see the hunger
The wondrous eyes questioning
What sanctity is come upon the wild

The man that I've become is wanted
Wanted but refused
This world of Salem and mist intrigue
I am not safe, I'm disavowed
Karma, hide me, enshroud

I saw you on a full moon night

I forgot all that was taught to me

'Never seek love when your eyes are glass'

'The world you see is rock'

I went my way and you caught me

With one slight hello I was trapped
I tried to remember what love taught me

I am turning into a wolf

Expect my calling in the light

Moonlight so blue and designed
I howl to profess my love for you

I howl and leave all behind

See the wildness in me, the bestiality
I crave

I want only one thing

A love that makes the moon brighter

As you take my hands and kiss me

I will turn and make my howl

Telling the world I'm animal
But I know deep down and you know
You know that I am weak

I love you, I do all you desire
Tonight, love...
Let the moon be on fire

Let Salem eyes take notice
That our moon and stars burn bright

Let the world see
That our love is eternal
And the moon rises for us ...

Thank you, Marion. This piece is cliché I know, turning wild with desire, uncontrolled lust, but there is something pure in it. It's the willingness to show how weak you really are. That raw desire that comes upon you. This is just my interpretation of my feelings when I meet someone special.
Have a great day my friend ❤️

Hey MICHAEL!!.....I agree with MARION here......you can almost feel the searing heat that this piece exudes........it has a fiery texture to it that is quite undeniable......and truly reveals something about its author......you write a LOT about this kind of passion.....and it continues to captivate!!.......as it continues to simultaneously disguise & reveal the heat of the wolf!!......ALL STARS!!,,,,,well done dear poet brother!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo : )

Thank you so much Tony. I do have some sort of connection with the wolf. I was 20 yrs old and I was walking down the road.bi saw a wolf. He looked at me and started running. He ran like the wind, like nothing I've ever seen. Something in his eyes told me to be careful. He was warning me to not stray into his territory.
And I said ok. I went my way. These animals are sacred. You cannot mess with them. I learned my lesson.
