The Wildcat

Celtic warrior queen
teeth bared at the world,
in the moonlight as white
and jagged as broken pearls.
She follows the starlightÂ
a shadow upon the wind,
over the ancient forested hills
with the lonely wind that sings.
Through the darkness sheÂ
bristles and flows, a ferocious
rage in her heart,
betrayed by eyes of fire
that glow as embers in the dark.
