The Winner Takes It All
No white and black
No right or wrong
There was only one winner
And they made it into a classic song .
The bitterest defeat
From something once so sweet
Now the good memories disappear
like graffiti on a whitewashed wall
No compromise , The winner took it all .

I LOVE this CHRIS!!.....I was in Sweden for three and half months back in the 80's......it was insane how revered this band is....and to this day they have a museum dedicated to them....they are National Treasures and they should be.......at one point they were a huge part of The Gross National Product for the whole bleepin' country!!.......Love that you shined a light on them my poetic friend!!......PINNED!!.....Well penned dear poet brother!!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo : )

I love your write here Chris...such a despairing quality to it. I've got to admit though ABBA we're never my cup of tea...always hated disco music...that and bloody opera. Love this work though x
