The world today
Wake up
These time's are so sad in this world that we're living,
There's no more compassion and a lot less giving,
My mind is lost and my thoughts they grow dark, Trying to find a reason to keep pushing searching for that spark,
Feeling alone , even with people all around, Searching for myself but im nowhere to be found,
Why is this life so hard no matter how good that we try to be , why is it so hard for other people to just wake up and see,
We're blind to the pain and suffering that's around us each and everyday, we're ignorant to the fact that we as a people have made it this way,
These times are a test in which we all fail in everyway , keep telling yourself its not you as you privately judge but publicly you pray,
I say these things not in anger but as a man with sin as well, I live with them daily deep inside of my own personal hell,
Searching for redemption and a way back to the light , I've been beat down all my life and yet i still continue to fight,
Lord give me the strength and the wisdom that i will need , to find my way out of the dark and finally be freed!!!!!!!

Wonderful write! I feel the pain. Had a heart attack a few years ago, am a diabetic which is getting very painful and just learned I may have cancer. I can find many people that have it worse than me. I think this mortal life is a test. Will we curse our maker, or call on Him? Don't give up!
