There is Treasure There

There is Treasure There

I still remember
talking my
little sister
into digging
up the
next door neighbor's
roses
with promises
that a treasure
would be there...

I vividly recall
the neighbor's
displeasure
of the results
that arose
from myΒ
healthy imagination

To this day
when I hear
someone describe
someone
cheeks
beingΒ
"Rosie Red"
my backΒ
side immediatley
begins toΒ
become
sore
recalling
the lost
treasure
forever forgotten
in Mrs. Taylor's
Garden......................

Hello Greg...

Cheeks Rosie Red...

?

I heard eventually, the pain there, stops...

I thought fences were to keep animals out...

Maybe, I shouldn't think Roses and think Cactus instead...

?

Great Funny Write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
