Poem -

These hands.

Forgive these hands
For what they are worth
Holding things together
breaking just the same
They crack
they bleed for love,
Yet softly
They touch amongst
driest of skin,
Moist be the heart
deepest within,
Am i not more
than my exterior coating
layers and layers
of passion and fire,
deeper be a souls desire
Beyond a body
more than light
'Tis time that ripples
throughout the ages
dragging elasticity behind
deeper and deeper still
you'll find
My beautiful mind.
