These Tired Feet
These tired feet
Have walked the earth
Barefoot in nature
Soil and the sands
Touching mother earth
Brings a sense of awakening
Brings me closer
To the years
I have walked the lands
On my own
Far and wide
Across the continents
Just to feel free
In tune
With my earthly being
I am forever at peace
With my conscious
Knowing I am here now
At the end of it all
My days are slower
I haven't got long
But the feeling of the openness
Refreshes my every thoughts
While sitting here
On my own

Like 5 Pin it 3Myself, Sarfraz Ahmed and another good friend, Jack Tomlinson, we wrote a series of feet poems as a result of Sarfraz sharing his sister Sabina's art project photos with us as picture prompts. So this is how these bizarre feet poems came about and we had 6 in total, with us all writing 2 each! π£π£π£

Beautiful P, I could feel the spiritual journey as I read on. It is amazing what a prompt can manifest into. Rob and I did a collab, it is on my page. It was really fun to do. The photo here definitely suits the piece so well. Wonderful write, our feet carry our souls everywhere πxxx
