Poem -

These Waves of Loss

Sea winds whipping
Against my heart
The  waves crashing
My hopes apart
Into a deep abyss of  loss
I am scattered
To the ocean of pain
Tears run hot and salty down my face
I am too far gone to care
Standing on the cliffs of Scotland
Hoping a light would stop me
I am diving down
To my destiny
The future born
From my past
Engulfed with waves and  dashed on rocks
I now rise beyond this grief
To the blissful halls of night
