Poem -

they don't care

When people ask you how you feel,

they don't really care,

you say "I'm fine" but inside your screaming,

nobody sees that your drowning,

no like they care about that either,

they don't know how your breaking,

no matter how you feel on the inside, your smiling on the out,

during school you smile,

at night your crying, holding your mouth so no one in the next room can't hear,

your breaking, and falling, and you want someone to save you,

but no one will,

you say your fine,

but how many times do you text a smiley face while wiping the mascara off your cheeks?

i wish there was something i could do to save you,

you are my friend, and I've been down the roadΒ  you are now,

sad, scared, worried, drowning,

but somehow you wake up in the morning and get out of bed,

maybe its because you don't want to be like this

you want someone to save you,

you need someone to save you,

you know i will be there for you,

as you were there for me when i needed you,

i will be the one to save you,

i see right threw you,

when i ask how you are i want the real answer,

i won't settle for "I'm fine" anymore i know its a lie

those people don't care,

but i do.
