Poem -

They left me DEAD

Wrists open seeping blood, tears wept causing floods.

Death comes slow, waiting for sleep, spent promises no longer to keep.

Coffins of wood, ashes made, scattered where you wish them laid.

Cash to ashes

Lust to unjust

Never together, not once, not ever.

Devil's in, wore me thin, feasting on long forgotten sin.

Memories of old, Memories unfold, scattered remains drift in with the cold.

Words not said, left in the head, they came to pass; they left me DEAD.

THE END
