Thief

Thief

I placed my heart on the arrow and then aimed into the clouds past the heavens to the stars.

My heart no longer belongs to me. You stole it faster than the speed of light.

So when you left this world and mine, I had to send it to where it belonged.

I always knew you were never mine to keep. With the smile of a god and the spirit of a demon you made the world seem new.

You took all of my pain and tears then placed them in the deepest part of the ocean. Since you left the rain has brought them back.

The world never knew of your grief your blinding shadows hid it well. You entered my world a thief and left with the thief that is death.
