Think I need a shed

James May talking model trains,
feeling the tension;
Hornby must be saved
The thought of losing British modelling
creating unexpected dread.
Perhaps I need a shed.
Listening to the shipping forecast
on insomnia filled endless nights.
As rain lashes panes while I wonder
how it would sound on metal instead.
Perhaps I need a shed.
As much jazz as punk on the record deck.
Re-visiting the Grateful Dead.
Thinking of starting some home brew.
A scrumpy style cider or headbanging lager instead.
I think I need a shed.
Perhaps I am getting on a bit.
Inevitable it's said.
And yes, alright, I admit it I'd like a really good shed.
So what if I'm getting older.
It's better than being dead.

Thank you Greg, some days I don't mind the middle aged thing so I try to write when I do. When my hips and knees ache you can forget it !
