THINKING OUT LOUD

I hope this time will be better 
As I cast my heart upon the sea
Not chasting love in desperation 
But hoping that love will find me.

And I will be accepted for who I am
Where changes are not a demand, 
And deception is not part of the plan.

Then, the other times before 
Where trust was the primary issue 
And communication was like a closed door.

I hope this time will be better,
With sunshine instead of stormy weather.
I'll chase my dreams with all my might,
And let my spirit take its flight.

I'll turn my trials into tales,
And let my courage never fail.
I'll dance through life with grace and ease,
And let my worries finally cease.

I hope this time will be the one,
Where I find peace beneath the sun.
I'll spread my love like petals wide,
And let my heart be my guide.
