This Must Be Love

She asks herself why she’s friends with me.

She questions her motives.

She asks herself how she can be better.

She asks me what I desire in a relationship.

She asks what makes me feel appreciated, respected.

I ask what I did to deserve such a loving friend.

Nothing.

And that is love.
