THREE LITTLE WISHES

THREE LITTLE WISHES

I saw a light from afar
Falling from heaven
Like a pitching star

How beautiful it looked
With a long fiery tail
But it's blaze startled me
As it drew near

My spirit were calmed
When it landed so soft
An angel appeared
From this glistening craft

Her hair was as red
As burning coals
Her eyes pierced through the darkness
Of my dreaded soul

I was sent to grant you
Three wishes this day
Just ask and its your
The angel says

Remove the wickedness
From the hearts of men
Save our planet
By the healing of our land

Cause all pain and suffering
In our world to cease
These are my three wishes
Will you grant them please.

Wilford Barker.

Hi Rob.
i believe that,
Some things.. are much bigger than our wants..
wants are so shallow.. like sparks, they paint such beautiful pictures..
but in seconds they fade away...
Needs on the other hand.. sustains life.
Thanks for taking the time my friend.

Damn Wilford , that couldve been a poem in itself...
Heres a Haiku runoff for you

Regardless my wants
I refuse to be selfish
when others have needs

Bigger than myself
I have everything I need
not everyone does

Life can distract us
from really whats important
but not you my friend

Keep being you WB you are a great rolemodel and i look up to you my friend.

Thanks Rob.
but there is no looking up to me my friend..
we look into each other eyes..
and realize that we may be from different parts of the earth
but we are united in struggles, pains, experiences and VICTORIES.
Two souls cut from the same human  apparel.
Be of good health my friend.
