Throw Your Weight

Throw Your Weight

A ship once received a call, immediately change ten degrees starboard your course!
Ship responded, change your direction ten degrees starboard or you will have remorse!
The call in the night came back, please change your course ten degrees to starboard now!
Or we won't be responsible for your destruction, the impending consequences of how!
The ship responded, I don't think you understand who this is, and I will be specific!
We are the largest U.S. Aircraft carrier! the mightiest warship in the Pacific!
Sir, I don't think you understand who this is, or what exactly you've found!
We are a lighthouse, and if you don't change your course now; you'll run a ground!

Being Me

🤣🤣🤣  love it!  I was expecting some sort of nail biting battle with a bit of history maybe thrown in. And when I read

Sir, I don't think you understand who this is, or what exactly you've found!

I thought to myself, "Ooooh!  Somethings occurring!"

Wow...all I can say is, you set this up perfectly from the very first line for the brilliant ending. What a poem! Exceptional Jim.  I will dredge the ocean for the  extra stars this soooo deserves. 📌 x
