Thru thick n’ thin 💕

A little old soul and her little old spouse
Dwelled almost over fifty years in that little old house
Where nothing much ever happened, it was as quiet as a mouse
But that little old washing line was always a’choppin’ and a’changin’, as the little old soul pegged out wet clothes, rearranging
And that chimney pot was always a’smokin’ when the little old spouse. was always a’stokin’
Now they were blessed but with no children, just a dog and a cat
But that’s just what the good Lord above had given them, so that was that
Forty nine and a bit years of wedded bliss, tho there would be the ups and downs, there would be nothin’ surer of this
But that little old soul with her little old spouse
Made the very best of what they had, in that little old house
And thru thick n’ thin, and those highs and lows
This little old couple, spent many a’ season, with heavenly happiness and worrying woes
Yet not a Sunday would go by on that seventh, sabbath day
When that little old soul and her little old spouse, would walk up that little road to the local chapel on the little lane, to kneel and pray…
