Poem -
thunder and lightening
so exciting,a blast from the sky
a lightening stroke of cracked wonder
a light stretch's fast and furious,illuminating
the distant ,deep of night
vivid lightening speed giving a feeling of
childlike delight
forked and spread in all directions
thunder pounding ,erupting the sky
with a steadfast spasmodic roar
letting the world know of it's presence
loud and heart stopping in it's rave
the two together make a volatile presence
i feel myself voracious for more
the miracles of the sky
in awe i watch and listen
another creation worth taking in
thunder and lightening damn its so exciting

thank you from the heart williamsJl i always appreciate your comments and the depth you read into the verses i have to admit i dont read romantic novels or such i just go by what i learn through life i do love nature and every chance i go to see the best of it forests,clifftops,sea. the sky amazes me all that happens from it and the amount of story's or poem's that can be brought from it is never ending
