Tibet

Tibet

If I ever find myself in Kathmandu
I'm sure I would find a way
To Budhanilkantha
And I would stayed there as long as it takes
To find all the inner peace and strength I need
To climb all the way to Tibet
Just to scream your name from the top of the world
And follow it as it rolls down to the Tibetan plateau
As it transgresses the mystical Persian deserts
As it hovers over the turquoise Caspian Sea
And through the Holly Land enters the Mediterranean
Would it be loud enough to reach you

If I ever feel the unbearable urge to see you
Stronger than anything I ever felt before
I would immediately start walking
Down the famous Burgundy vineyards
And I wouldn't even stop to see
The mythical smoke on the Lac Léman
More decisively than Hannibal
I would cross the Alps and the Dolomites
Like Moses I would divide the sea
Just to feast my eyes on your angelic beauty
Even for a moment and it would be enough
Would it be enough for you
